Google Chrome
The Google Chrome browser has JavaScript support turned on by default.
If for some reason it has been switched off,
Check the Properties of the shortcut that is used to launch the browser.
There may be a -disable-javascript option in the Object field (it means JavaScript has been switched off via the Command Prompt). This option should be deleted.
Here are a few more start-up parameters for Google Chrome:
-disable-java (turns off Java support).
-disable-images (turns off image display).
Mozilla Firefox (2, 3)
Open the Tools menu.
Click Options.
Go to the Contenttab.
Check the Enable JavaScript» box.
Press the OK button.
Internet Explorer (6, 7, 8)
Open the Tools menu.
Choose Internet Options.
Click the Security tab.
Choose Custom Level
Scroll down to the Scripting section.
Click Enable for Active Scripting.
Click OK.
Press the Yes button in the confirmation window.
Opera
On the Tools menu, click> Preferences or press Ctrl+F12.
Switch to the Advanced tab
Click Content.
Click to select the Enable JavaScript check box, and then click OK.
Apple Safari (2, 3)
Open the Safari menu and click Edit.
Select Preferences.
Switch to the Security tab.
Check the box next to a line that says Enable JavaScript.
Netscape Navigator (7.1)
Select Edit from the top menu.
Click Preferences.
Click Advanced.
Go to Scripts and plug-ins.
Click to select the Enable JavaScript check box and click OK.
